The Planet Protection Project, in partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects, is dedicated to combating climate change through large-scale tree planting initiatives.
Recognizing the power of trees to sequester carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, the Planet Protection Project has committed to plant trees around the world.
For every fifty pence, one tree is planted. These trees, as they grow and mature, not only absorb CO2 from the atmosphere but also contribute to the creation of woods and forests, thereby enhancing biodiversity.
In collaboration with Eden Reforestation Projects, the Planet Protection Project operates in countries like Madagascar, Mozambique, Kenya, Ethiopia, Nepal, the Philippines, Honduras, and Brazil. They provide sustainable employment to local people, empowering them to restore and protect their natural environment.
This partnership brings employment and revenue to remote communities worldwide through their tree planting initiatives. This not only aids in climate change mitigation but also promotes socio-economic development in these areas.
